Reservation Policy


Please be VERY aware of the following policies as they are strictly enforced, thank you.


For the health and safety of all our guests, The August Seven Inn is a non- smoking establishment, please refrain from smoking ANYWHERE IN THE INN. Electronic SMOKLESS may be Allowed Contact inn for rules of use min fine $250 for use violations ...Smoking is permitted outside only. A $250 charge will be applied to the bill of any guest who smokes in any of the Inns rooms.

As we are a luxury accommodation, there will be a minimum charge of $50 to any damage to property including linens of the August Seven Inn. Please be extra cautious of your guest room and its belongings.

Request to use bikes are subject to use at your own risk, any damage to bikes need be mentioned and guest will incur cost to repair or replace if stolen

We welcome well behaved teens 18 and over, however, unaccompanied young adults must be 21 or older to reserve exceptions are made for military.

Pets are not allowed, but we will gladly supply you with the name of a kennel nearby.

Upon check in you will receive a room key and a key to the front door. The entrance door is secured for privacy to yourselves and other guests. Please refrain from letting people (other than current guests you are familiar with) in as they either will have a key or will need to see someone in charge to check in. Loss of the door key will result in a re-keying charge of approximately 40 to75 dollars depending.

Check in is between 4 and 5 pm, you may request in your reservation earlier check in times, they will however be subject to availability. Check in times after 5pm must be requested and are available up until 9pm , after 9 pm they are subject to availability as depending on the circumstances it may disturb other guests when you arrive, you must call the inn for check in requests after 9pm.

Check out is at 11am promptly. There is a $10.00 charge for every half hour after 11 am.

Reservations Non Special Event will be charged 15.00 Deposit with balance due upon arrival

Special event reservations will be charged a deposit of 30.00 with the balance due upon arrival.

Gift Certificates may be charged 7.00 to verify your Credit Card. If there is a balance, it will be due upon arrival; any remaining owed will need to be paid in cash. All non cash payments will incur a 7.00 service charge. If you were charged 7.00 at time of booking that will become the Service charge if you opt for non cash payment, and no additional charges will incur.

Special event reservations require a 30 day prior to your booking cancellation notice for a refund less a $30 processing fee. Otherwise, the deposit will be forfeited and you will be held responsible for the ENTIRE reservation. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS.

Non special event reservations require a 14 day cancellation notice for a refund less a $15 processing fee otherwise your deposit will be forfeited and you will be held responsible for the ENTIRE reservation. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS. Under certain circumstances a credit may be issued for non special event reservations, see below...If for any reason you feel this may apply please make a notation in the special request section or call the inn, some exceptions may be able to be made prior confirming your reservation.

Cancellations FOR ANY REASON will not be accepted if not within the stated time period as we are a small establishment and cancellations affect us greatly.

A credit may be given for uncontrollable circumstances in place of the forfeited deposit if you choose to be applied to a future reservation of the same year along with a one night paid stay subject to availability and not valid during special events or holidays.

Cancellations are ONLY ACCEPTED THOUGH SPEAKING with a representative of the Inn and receiving a cancellation confirmation number.
