As you may already know, Daytona Beach is famous for its beach, a 23 mile stretch of hard packed sand. Open to pedestrians 24 hours a day, seven days a week, you’re sure to get in your sun and surf time.
The beach is located just a short walk away from the Inn but if you have a few things you want to carry for your day on the sand, you can drive your car and you won’t have to worry about parking as cars are permitted on the beach in designated areas from sunrise to sunset, for a small fee.
After the beach, visit historic Beach Street, a delightful strip of shops and restaurants located across the bridge from the Inn and a wonderful way to unwind while strolling among the palms and the Halifax River. Visit the shops or pop into one of the eateries to get something to wet your whistle.
